Activists in Manchester and London have been holding regular protests outside Burberry stores, which have been selling an increasing amount of real fur in recent months.
Burberry describes itself as "quintessentially British", yet the production of fur in Britain has long been illegal, so all the fur sold by Burberry here has to be imported from other countries. If "quintessentially British" Burberry tried to produce those same fur items in Britain, they would face arrest and prosecution. If you want to get involved in the protests contact us for more details.
In the UK, Burberry only has stores in Manchester and London, but they have many branches in other countries. To find a branch in your area see the store locator. There are leaflets and posters that we can send to you or you can download from the website, see below for details. If you want to translate the flyers or posters into your local language, contact us for details.
Please contact Burberry and ask them to stop selling fur. Explain the horrors of the fur trade, and send them links to films and sites about the fur trade. Please keep all communication polite and informative.
